I hope all the moms had a wonderful day on Sunday! Thank you to Noelle for taking Everlee the bee home this weekend. Did you know she went on a trip to visit Grammy on the day before Mother's Day and had a nice day working in the garden with mom on Mother's day too!
Monday was Clifford day which came with many activities! We read stories, sang a Clifford song, played Clifford games both online and a game called Clifford, Clifford who stole your bone. We made and painted a Clifford head, had a Birthday Clifford snack (Birthday animal crackers) outside, colored a Clifford paper and many of us had our red shirts on! It was a great day!!!
This week we learned about ending sounds and started middle sounds. Please review these at home.
We learned simple addition this week by starting off with a Circus addition book and we did simple with small stones and blocks.
We used the book Sitting Like a Saint and practiced being like Mary. We also completed a Hail Mary paper and continue to practice for our May Crowning. We discussed how Elizabeth Mary's cousin came to visit Mary and completed a paper on it.
We are working hard on our butterfly projects for the Stem Fair. It is May 21 @7:00PM. Each caterpillar turned into a chrysalis over the weekend. It was so exciting. We should have butterflies in a week or so!!!
We read Let's find Only in America this week. We talked about the many things there are to do In NJ as well. We found out many children like to go to the Jersey Shore.
We also learned about the life cycle of the lima bean and we are growing lima bean plants on our window at school. Hopefully by next week we see some sprouts from our plants!
We watched the Aladdin Jr. play on Thursday. It was wonderful. The children enjoyed it so much. Hope you get a chance to see it. There is one more showing tonight at 7:00 PM.
On Friday Mrs. McNulty brought her parachute in for us to play with. We had so much fun!
We will have Milkshake Monday this Monday and have milkshakes as our last cooking for the year. If you do not wish your child to have them please let me know.
We received a letter From Life Choices thanking us for all the donations. Thank you to all who participated.

Our Pre-k Formal Promotion is June 6 @ 1:00 pm. The invitation went out this week. Please have your child in the CCR (cafeteria) at 12:45pm. There is no school in the morning. If you have a sibling in the big school and want them to attend, please write me a note and I will forward it to the office.
